A station town with everything you need for everyday life

Taulov is an active local community with plenty of sports activities, communities and nature experiences close by.

Taulov is an obvious choice for families with children. There are two childcare centres here, Lucinahaven and Spiren. Both have a nursery and a kindergarten.

At Fjordbakkeskolen in Taulov, there are year groups from 0 to 9.

Taulov is located right in the heart of the Triangle Region, close to great infrastructure and many workplaces. Taulov has its own small train station with connections to, among others, Kolding, Esbjerg and Fredericia station. In addition, city buses run between Taulov and Fredericia.

Taulov also has shopping options, a medical centre and a library, so even though Fredericia and other larger towns are close by, Taulov has everything you need for everyday life.

Community life and activities

You’ll find plenty of clubs and communities in Taulov and the neighbouring town of Skærbæk. The local sports hall, Elbohallen, provides the setting for a wide range of exercise, sports and cultural activities.

Taulov Fællesråd actively works to make the town an even better place to live. For example, the council helped establish Taulov Folkeskov north of the town. The family dog will love trips to Taulov Hundeskov, which the council is also behind.

The area also has an association for culture and creativity, a BMX community, a tennis club, a billiards club and much more.

Close to nature

Here, you’ll live close to the beautiful nature of Elbodalen, a long Ice Age tunnel valley stretching from Rands Fjord in the north to Gudsø Vig in the southern part of the municipality. Here you’ll find, among other things, Kongstedsøerne and several marked hiking routes.

Taulov is also just a few km from the Blue Flag beach at Skærbæk Strandpark, where you can swim in the Little Belt or spend the night outdoors at the shelter site. From Taulov, it’s also not far to the cosy harbour atmosphere at Skærbæk Marina.
